The Strategic Workforce Planning Analyst supports the SWP Leader in the development of a workforce planning capability at Newell Rubbermaid. The SWP Analyst provides analytical support to business unit HR Leaders during the execution of workforce planning activities. The SWP Analyst also supports the development and usage of the data and software required to execute SWP processes and serves as the system administrator of the SWP software.

Essential Duties:
§ Partner with business unit HR leaders to identify data requirements (i.e., external market data, etc.) and with SWP Leader to develop solutions to address data needs
§ Liaise with HR teams to collect and validate key data required for monthly and quarterly metrics reporting analysis
§ Utilize the Newell Rubbermaid HRIS and workforce planning software to interpret and analyze data and to assist with planning and reporting
§ Perform analysis of relevant HR metrics to identify and disseminate trends in key data (i.e., turnover, diversity, etc.) which could impact business unit and/or enterprise level workforce planning
§ Act as a key contact for the delivery, maintenance and improvement of workforce planning scorecard and reports; generate required scorecards/reports per established schedule or as requested
* Manage the aggregation of workforce plans across business units
* Conduct environmental scanning activities including gathering, analyzing and collating internal and external labor data/trends. This includes North America and Global data/trends. Disseminate information gathered to the business based on established timelines or upon request.
* Serve as the system administrator for the workforce planning software.

Qualifications

Work Experience & Technical Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years work experience in strategic workforce planning
§ Knowledge and experience tracking and interpreting global market data and trends
§ Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques
§ Intermediate knowledge of statistics
§ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
* Experience working in a complex corporate environment
* Consumer products industry experience a plus
