The Senior Manager, Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) is a key role within Newell Rubbermaid's Organization Development Center of Excellence. This role will develop and deploy a strategic workforce planning process, supporting tools and software across the enterprise and will administer the annual organizational review process enabling integration with SWP. The Senior Manager, SWP will serve as the primary consultant to GBU HR and business leaders on workforce planning and organizational review matters, providing guidance and support as needed and will lead enterprise-wide SWP activities.

Essential Duties:
§ Build strategic workforce planning capability across Newell Rubbermaid
§ Provide guidance and support to business unit HR Leaders on the Newell Strategic Workforce Planning Methodology and supporting software
§ As requested, support business unit HR Leaders in the execution of workforce planning activities including conducting workshops, evaluating business unit workforce plans, identifying gaps and proposing solutions to address core priority gaps
* Develop and maintain standard tools, templates and reporting frameworks in support of workforce planning
* Analyze enterprise-wide trends relative to resource schedules and allocation of talent
* Team with the business to define ongoing data needs and requirements and incorporate into workforce planning tools and software (as relevant)
* Responsible for identifying external sources of employee data to address the needs of the business
* Conduct enterprise-wide SWP activities to identify shared gaps and global solutions. This includes reviewing business unit workforce plans to identify global / cross business needs.
* Partner with relevant COEs (i.e., talent acquisition, Learning and Development, Total Rewards, etc.) to develop and implement solutions to address cross GBU / enterprise wide gaps
* Establish core SWP metrics and develop reporting/scorecard approach and supporting documentation (i.e., dashboards, reports, etc.)
* Administer the annual organization review process in partnership with HR Generalists across the organization. Enable integration between organization review and Strategic Workforce Planning activities.

Qualifications

* Master's degree in Finance or Economics (ideal), Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business

Work Experience & Technical Requirements:
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience including:
* Quantitative business analysis
* Working in a complex corporate environment
* Translating complex human capital analysis into actionable, measurable plans.
* Conducting scenario planning and trend analysis
* Planning and managing projects in a matrix environment
* Demonstrated ability leading major changes, leveraging communication, developing strong partnerships with leaders
* Experience with strategic workforce planning and organizational review processes
* Consumer products industry experience a plus
