* Participate in new product launch and development process by providing quality engineering expertise.
* Drive the product submission approval process implementation
* Manage the product safety compliance testing activities and participate in problem solving.
* Support the outgoing inspection during NPD progress or high priority project if necessary
* Monitor supplier quality performance and reduce DPPM level
* Lead the supplier to identify the root cause, develop the containment, corrective and preventives actions to solve the quality issues
* Support the supplier selection and approval process by performing factory assessments.
* Design and implement the training to develop the suppliers.
* Perform in process audits and product audit to verify quality systems effectiveness.
* Control the quality of supplier's process/product change
* Perform timely quality and project progress report



Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering or related discipline
* 5 years above experience in manufacturing environment, 10 years above is preferred.
* Good knowledge in ISO9000 system, PFMEA, Control plan , SPC, DFM
* Sound knowledge in Product safety standards, eg. CB, CE, FCC, GS/UL
* Solid experience in supplier quality management and able to drive supplier improvements
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being a team player, open

Qualifications

Work Experience &amp; Technical Requirements:

§ Minimum 10 years of L&amp;OD experience
§ Minimum 5 years leading people
§ Deep understanding of the all aspects of the L&amp;OD landscape
§ Experience with large scale performance improvement / organizational change initiatives including cultural transformations a must
§ Experience with impactful, performance oriented employee &amp; leadership development programs a must

Reporting to the Zhongshan plant manager , the incumbent is responsible for New Product Development process, interface with R&amp;D Japan, Production engineering management, Industrial engineering management, Engineering competence arrangement, lean production, productivity improvement, customer inquiry fulfill, performance management reporting and staff managements &amp; training.

The major responsibilities include:

* Interface between R&amp;D Japan and Zhongshan plant on new product development.

* Lead the new projects development plan, arrangement and implement in Zhongshan Plant.
* Production engineering management to make sure the daily production running smooth. Trouble shooting function is must.
* Guide and technical support production department on industrial engineering. Lean production introduction and implement are expected.
* Product safety and international regulation compliance.
* Coordination with all departments concerned to hit the target of timing and costs;
* Guide and train subordinates to implement every step of new projects development;
* Look close to the design quality to meet the customer requirements and processing feasibility during manufacturing;
* Communication with Japan engineering group to realize the team function to achieve the targets;
* Man power management to make sure to put right person onto right position;
* Daily management within department;
* Keep smooth cooperation with departments to comply the regulation of plant;
* Approve all concerned documents within responsibility as job description;
* Conduct all the other missions assigned by Plant manager.
* Timely review and continue improve on working quality.
* Conduct all actions to match with the requirements from ISO 9001, 2000.
* Make sure the Movex system synchronize with the daily actual technical activities


Qualifications
* Minimum 10 years experience in Production Engineering on baby products, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
* University of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering discipline;
* At least 10 years similar working experience of the field, and at least 5 years in a managerial capacity, strong working ability and professional skill;
* Familiar at R&amp;D management system operations, such as FMEA;
