Responsibilities
* Maintain and support Avaya ESS in APAC region - Hong Kong, Australia &amp; Japan, including daily administration, call center function &amp; VoIP/SIP implementation, and Avaya IP Office system/third party PABX in the region
* Co-ordinate for Avaya integration projects between APAC/EMEA/NA offices
* Co-ordinate to roll-out Unified Communications in APAC, including Video Conf, Audio Conf &amp; IM
* Provide second tier end user desktop support for local and remote users in Asia Pac region
* Co-ordinate to maintain Server Room operation - perform daily back-up operations, Anti-virus management, patch deployment, system monitoring
* Co-ordinate and execute new infrastructure, security and office automation projects
* Co-ordinate global project deployment and ensure corporate I.T. standards are adhered to
* Maintain and support LAN/WAN in APAC data centers and conduct performance tuning and capacity planning
* Responsible for technical solution and maintenance of server, email, network, voice and security to ensure that defined SLA is consistently met


Qualifications
* College diploma/degree in computer related field
* 3-5 years hand-on experience implementing and administrating network &amp; voice device, setting and maintaining Active Directory structure (Windows 2003/2008)
* Familiar with Cisco products (Router, Switch, Wireless &amp; PIX/ASA/VPN) &amp; network monitoring tools
* Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP fundamental and theory, knowledge of IGP/BGP
* Core knowledge of voice protocol, such as SIP, H.323 RTP/sRTP
* Experience with multi-site MPLS networks, QoS policy, Riverbed WAN Acceleration technologies
* Experience with Avaya PABX system and VoIP protocol will be an advantage

This is a job summary which includes essential job duties of the position. More specific information regarding duties may be provided upon request for particular locations and facilities.

* Responsible for developing and executing the strategic safety and health improvement direction for the region.
* Assist in the development, leadership, and execution of each locations Safety and Health improvement strategies through the deployment of a proactive improvement process. The execution includes communication of expectations, assessing progress, performing some of the implementation, and being a resource for all locations. Embedded in this execution scope is the responsibility of ensuring compliance with all Governmental Safety and Health laws and regulations at all locations.
* Lead the deployment of the Corporate Safety Excellence and Leadership (SEAL) process. This includes leading the execution of the annual SEAL assessment as well as assisting each location in the deployment of the action items identified for improvement throughout the year.
* Provide leadership and assistance to all locations in the region for work related injury/illness claim management activities. Help locations set standard processes, expectations, monitor location management progress, and provide location guidance on proper execution.
* Lead safety best practice sharing and standardization throughout the region.  Also responsible to ensure alignment to the Newell Rubbermaid overall safety improvement strategy.
* Be the Corporate champion in at least 1 Safety and Health subject area.
* Participate, give safety updates, and assistance in other operational activities such as GBU ops reviews, lean manufacturing, productivity, new product development, new process or equipment reviews, etc..


Qualifications
The most qualified candidate will possess strong technical knowledge/ability in Safety &amp; Health, also have experience and knowledge with Workers Compensation injury claim management and reporting requirements, knowledge on the Occupational Health and Safety Act, good communication and influencing skills that can be displayed at all levels of the organization, demonstrates passion and tenacity towards the safety and health improvement process and meeting goals, is a good listener, and demonstrates the ability to work in a team environment.

* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a college or university; or a certification in safety management (i.e. CSP).
* 3 years experience in a Safety position preferred.
* Knowledge of Internet and Word Processing software.
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
* Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
* Job requires approximately 25% - 40% travel within the region.

The Regional Director is the leader of the business in the region and is responsible for delivering the APAC regional P&amp;L for the Labeling Technology and Integrated Solutions Global Business Unit (GBU) while supporting global brand strategy and innovation with regional consumer and customer insights. This includes setting the strategy on the APAC integrated marketing plans in conjunction with the GBT leads. This is accomplished through a team of in-country marketers and sales teams for Mimio and the Industrial and IT/VAR Labeling segments, as well as through shared marketing and sales resources for the Home / Office Labeling segment. This role reports directly to the Tech GBU President.

He/she will be responsible for:

Brand Stewardship and Innovation
·     Translating GBU brand strategy into regional consumer priorities, through close partnership with the VP of Marketing and the GBT leads
·     Incorporating Sales feedback into brand and business strategies
·     Identifying business opportunities in the market that generate ideas for innovation
·     Managing product launches for two distinct brands and product lines; Dymo Labeling and Mimio Teaching.

Brand in the region / Channel Strategy
* Performing a market, brand equity and channel situation assessment
* Defining 3-5 Year aspirations and drivers of growth for the brand in region across channels
* Management directly and indirectly of the channel marketing team for both Dymo and Mimio.

Integrated Marketing Plan
* Determining consumer sub-segment growth levers
* Developing the consumer engagement strategy from Global guidelines
* Developing the customer and channel strategy
* Developing a marketing spending plan
* Adapting global marketing materials to local and tracking results
* Creating Channel marketing plans and have them executed by market

Pricing Guidelines and Trade Funds Management
* Recommending inter and intra channel pricing strategies based on GBU guardrails
* Monitoring price attainment and making course corrections
* Using channel funds profitably


Sales Achievement
* Manages a multi-country sales team with reseller, distributor and account models.
* Will have to show success in working through a significant regional strategic partner for one product category.
* Will also work through shared sales resources to gain share of mind and deliver on expectations.
* Will be responsible for two major product lines and brands, delivering high growth on both.
* Must be able to partner with local Regional Sales leadership as well as GBU executive leadership to achieve sales results.

Financial Management:
* Setting the brand financial forecast for the region (across markets and channels)
* Set Sales targets for applicable teams in the APAC region
* Optimizing brand financial performance in the region
* Collaborating in the S&amp;OP process
* Up to 40% Travel required, both domestic and international


Qualifications
* Four-year college degree, MBA preferred.
* 12+ years of marketing, sales and/or general management work experience. Must have both marketing and sales experience in your background.
* Experience managing a global business or brand, or worked in other country(ies). Demonstrates an understanding of differences between countries and cultures, and has built that understanding into strategies and plans.
* Successful execution working in a matrix environment. Managing through influence as well as direct authority is a critical success factor for this role.
* Demonstrated success in translating business priorities, into marketing objectives, sales objectives, strategies, and plans. Has significant experience in developing communication campaigns integrated across marketing and trade plans.
* Experience successfully managing a P&amp;L, including setting pricing to extract maximum value, reducing costs, E&amp;O, and inventories, balancing financial risks, and forecasting future performance.
* Experience leading large, cross-functional teams to successful results.
* Experience leading a multi-country sales team and partnering with distributors to achieve sales results.
