Job Description:
Rubbermaid Home Products requires a professional individual ready to move into a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As an electrical engineer for this company, you will be responsible for developing and directing the electrical and technical systems for the Jackson, MO facility.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* BS degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of three years experience working closely with Production, Process Engineers, and Electrical and Maintenance technicians.
* Excellent written and verbal skills with a heavy emphasis on teamwork.
* Strong commitment to Lean manufacturing principles.
* Reliable, Independent, Self-Motivated, Detail-Oriented.
* Ability to lead a project from inception to completion.
Requirements:
* Extensive knowledge of NEC.
* Experience with high voltage (up to 480v 3-phase).
* Solid background programming in PLC and HMI on multiple platforms.
* Experience with object oriented programming.
* Familiar with data acquisition.
* Experience with FANUC robotics and programming.
* Proficiency in hardware design (panel design, I/O, bill of materials, safety circuits).
* Experience designing and drawing schematics.
* Experience in installing/troubleshooting AC-DC drives.
* Controls experience.
* Some experience required with machine design and implementation.
* Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Project.
Desirables:
* AutoCAD literacy.
* Experience with resistance welding.
* Experience with European controls and voltage.
* Experience with powder coat finishing.
