* Responsible for transportation analytics and cost improvement strategies.
* Responsible for inbound carrier routings from Vendors to the Office Products DC's
* Help assist with Transportation routing and planning.as needed.
* Advise on application processes, procedures, and best practices.
* Implement and drive cost reduction tools and procedures.
* Work with Customer Service and Sales team on transportation requests and routing configurations.
Qualifications
* B.S. or B.A (Logistics or Supply Chain Preferred)
* Minimum 2-3 years in transportation experience.
* Strong experience with SAP functionality
* Strong WMS system knowledge
* Strong communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills.
* Project management ability including strong follow up practice
* Ability to plan, schedule, work independently and as part of a team
* Work and communicate effectively with business, IT, and upper management
* Ability to apply creative solutions to complex problems and measure the impact to the business
* Assess issues and the financial impact and cost savings of solutions.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
* Strong organizational skills, extremely detailed and accurate
* Strong Microsoft Suite skills, especially Excel
