Senior Production Project Engineer(Technical Manager)

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Production Project Engineer will beresponsible for the result of projects of high quality within the projected timing and budget.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
As part of the technical team this role reports directly to the Engineering Manager, and the Production Project Engineer will also work closely with Process-, Test-, Maintenance & Industrial Engineers here at DYMO. Responsible for the electromechanical, mechanical and automatisation projects, you will also work regularly with external system integrators, subcontractors and other departments within DYMO.
As the technical manager of the MES system of the production you will conduct technical meetings with all parties involved and be responsible for developping the most optimal solutions for our projects. You will therefore play a critical part both before, after & during the delivery of the projects, taking care of a smooth transition towards the maintenance team.
You will also provide the necessary trainings and support our maintenance team in case of urgent technical problems. Also key to the role will be to continously seek improvements and optimalisations to our projects.

Profile sought:
Degree: Industrial Engineer or equal by experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant and practical experience in the realization of technical production projects.
Programming of PLC's and operator panels (Omron, Siemens, Beckhoff) have no secrets for you.
Any experience with MES systems is required and you are prepared to follow extra courses.
You have AUTOCAD knowledge or willing to learn this program.
You are a good communicator & you can work independently. You are a teamplayer and love to find a solution in team. You are innovative and creative in thinking and working & You are a problemsolver
You have practical knowledge off MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
Dutch and English are a must. German is an asset.
